1. Learn about Thanksgiving
Did you know the first Thanksgiving feast lasted three days and was never repeated? In fact, the colonists didn't even call the day Thanksgiving. 2. Visit family and friends

3. Buy a pie
What would Thanksgiving be without desert pies? A few years agoour marketing guy found a place that makes what he swears are the best pecan pies in the country. It's called the Jamestown Pie Company, and its famous family recipe has been around for 80 years! At one time you had to drive to Jamestown, Virginia, to get one of these treats: now you can buy one online.

5. See a parade
Who loves a parade? Everyoneespecially kids. The Macy's Thanksgiving Day Parade began in 1924 and has been a tradition that's delighted millions of peopleyoung and old alike. The trick is getting all of those sleepyheads out of bed early enough to see it, although TiVo has helped with that.

Every year thousands of people camp out overnight in front of their local retailers to get the coolest gadgets of the year. In the past, we've seen huge lines for Playstation 3s, iPods, even Tickle Me Elmos. Although we don't know what the hot item is going to be this year, we're putting our money on the Nintendo Wii.
