There's a new name in Coated Papers, and it's arriving January 2007. Introducing TruSpec™.

[MEMPHIS, Tenn. – Sept. 25, 2006] – Pine Bluff Coated Papers, a business of International Paper, introduces TruSpec coated groundwood papers. While the name is new, the paper comes from an experienced manufacturing team and a powerful and proven mill in Pine Bluff, Ark. The mill is dedicated to providing medium and heavyweight TruSpec coated groundwood papers for use in magazines, catalogs, direct mail, commercial printing and custom publishing projects.

“TruSpec is more than just a new product name for Pine Bluff coated groundwood,” said Greg Otto, sales and marketing director. “It’s a new approach to serving customers. We’re focused, predictable, responsive and nimble.”

Because TruSpec is produced in one mill, the team’s energy is focused there. Customers get a consistent paper that prints beautifully, giving their project the look and feel that impresses readers and consumers. With that focus comes predictable delivery. The mill schedules extended manufacturing runs for each grade and gives customers an advanced production schedule to make ordering and planning easier.

When it comes to delivery, you can count on having your TruSpec papers arrive on-time from the centrally located mill in Pine Bluff. “Because TruSpec coated groundwood papers are the only products we sell, we can focus our attention on our customers,” said Otto. “We can take the time to understand their needs one-on-one, find innovative ways to meet those needs and remain flexible as needs change.”

TruSpec coated groundwood papers, available in 81 bright #4, 76 bright #4.5 and 72 bright #5 grades, are ready for delivery January 2007. Each grade offers multiple basis weights each with two finishes – gloss and low glare – so customers can achieve the right balance of visual appeal and readability. TruSpec’s southern fiber sheet offers extraordinary strength and durability, providing reliable offset web performance and a resilient end product that stands up to rigorous use.
